NEW YORK (AP) – Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. said Tuesday it has gotten clearance to modify the design of a passenger terminal at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
The modification will generate an additional $13.7 million for the Pasadena, Calif., company. Overall, the Dallas airport is paying Jacobs Engineering $52.4 million for design and related services as part of a $1.9 billion renovation. The renovation is expected to be complete in 2017.
In a separate announcement, Jacobs Engineering said it has been hired to work as a consultant on a power and water facility in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The company didn’t say how much the contract with Saudi Arabian utility Marafiq was worth.
Jacobs said it will focus on managing the project, engineering reviews and other supervisory work.
Its shares gained a penny to $35.60 in premarket trading Tuesday.
